If you look back in the archives, you’ll find a post I wrote on one of the most wonderful yet neglected words in the English language, vim. Just as a reminder, here is the definition of the word:

Vim (noun): robust energy and enthusiasm

Not bad, right? I want to feel that all of the times! Of course that isn’t how life works, but it still makes for a most excellent goal. And lately, there has been a lot of vimish hubbub going on behind the scenes of ten degrees warmer. Change. Growth. Adventure.

Apologies that I’ve kept it behind the scenes, and actually, I don’t have full details for you yet. But I do have some news to share and wanted to get it all out there.

First of all, we’ve come home from Asia. I’m way behind on my updates from that part of the trip and I still have some stories to share which will be forthcoming. Such as how we ate snake fruit and fish eyes, and how travel hacking helped us fly from Phnom Penh to Las Vegas for $20.

Secondly, we came home a bit earlier than expected because, as some of you already know, I’m preparing to launch a new business as a life coach. There will be much more information on that coming soon. Business license obtained, business bank account opened, lots of exciting things about to happen.

Finally, another reminder that once you decide what you want, the universe always meets you halfway. We decided we wanted to look for a long term housesit somewhere interesting, so we could still feel like we were traveling even though we need more time to sit and write and have highfalutin business strategy meetings. We started by looking around North America, and ended up booking the very first one we applied for! We are heading down to Mérida, Mexico in less than two weeks and will be staying there (along with 2 dogs and 8 cats, all street rescues) until October. Which, if you are at all familiar with my addiction to tacos al pastor (heavy on the cilantro!) you understand how vimishly happy I am about this.

So if any of you have plans to brave the summer heat down near Cancún this summer, be sure to let us know, we will be just a few hours away!
